parks
of course each park is unique in fauna, flora, aspect, lakes, ponds, streams, bridges, pergolas, bars, cafes, outdoor cinemas, fountains, promenades, topiary, mazes, lawn type, galleries, outdoor chess boards, petanque fields, bbqs, observation towers, native sections, toilet blocks, kids play areas, table tennis and so forth, so to be thinking of one park while being in another was often a very different experience, and perhaps of little value, and yet some parks could be said to be similar to each other like woodlupine brook reserve in perth and hasenheide in berlin for instance. it wouldn’t surprise me if the same landscape architect was not involved in the planning of those two great parks of the world, but i don’t know this for sure, it just comes to mind because i was thinking of those parks while sitting in a park in potsdam, with a palace and an orange orchard nearby and a pan pipe band standing in a circle playing songs from latin america.

My GF takes a snap of an old shed in SanSouci park in Bornstedt, Potsdam. I was thinking about snapping a goal as a kid at Mills Park in Kenwick here. |
I am thinking about playing table tennis in Hasenheide in Berlin while being snapped here at Mundaring Weir Nature Reserve in Perth. Is a nature reserve a park? |
